Said the river to the earth As it wandered down its way "What has befallen both of us to bring us to this day I myself am dying I know this to be true For my bed is quickly drying Where the waters once ran blue And you yourself are ruined your beautiful sweet face Marred by faithless stewards Who have laid the world to waste The valleys and the hilltops Are laid low by human hands The deserts and the beaches Lay dead beneath their sands But though The mighty mountains Bent with age refuse to fall, Where have all the forests gone where proud trees once stood tall? And where are all the creatures With their wings and fangs and fur? I cannot help but weep for The wildernesses we once were."

To write a Haiku Isn't as hard as you think Anybody can
Little is needed Just some imagination and inspiration
You can make them soft as a pillow or a cloud gentle and humble
You can make them hard like a mountain or a stone proud and courageous
Anything you think can be a beautiful verse with simple haiku
